- Dalke, Dorothy S. (Fonder)
Dorothy S. (Fonder) Dalke, Kaukauna, age 63, died at home on Sunday, November 27, 2005. She was born in Oconto County on December 28, 1941, daughter of the late Raymond and Lucille (Jandrain) Fonder. On September 7, 1963, she married Kenneth Dalke in Green Bay. Dorothy worked as a paraprofessional at Kaukauna High School for 24 years. She loved her Irish heritage and her travels to Ireland. Dorothy loved to dance and belonged to the Adagio Dance Club. She will be remembered for her volunteer work, which involved working with special needs people.
Dorothy is survived by her children: Katey (Alexander) Murray of Little Chute; Maureen (David) Haessly of Kaukauna; and Melissa Dalke of Kaukauna; grandchildren: Kevin and Sheena Murray, and Anthony and Amanda Haessly; sisters: Catherine (Michael) Jacisin of Luxemberg; Evelyn (Robert) Micolichek of Luxemberg; Sharon (Leland) Marks of Green Bay; and Lambert (Kathleen) Fonder of Atlanta, GA; in-laws: Marvin (Lois) Dalke of Seymour; Floyd (Martha) Dalke of Seymour; Donna Dalke of Chicago; and Dennis (Shirley) Krueger of Black Creek.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Kenneth; her parents; and her sister, Mary Fonder.
The funeral liturgy will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2005, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 309 Desnoyer St., Kaukauna, with Fr. Jack Mullarkey officiating. Friends will be received at the Fargo Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 29, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. The burial will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Holy Cross Cemetery, Kaukauna.
