- Scott G. Fuerst
Age 50, of New London, Wisconsin, died unexpectedly at his residence on Wednesday, July 10, 2013.
Scott was born in New London on November 25, 1962, the son of Glenn and Janis (Knuth) Fuerst. He graduated from New London High School and was employed by Curwood Manufacturing of New London for approximately 13 years. Scott worked on the family farm and was active in agriculture his entire life. Scott enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting, fishing, and remodeling his house.
Scott is survived by his two children: Magen and Haley, both of New London; former wife and mother of his children, Diana Hoffmann, New London; parents, Glenn and Janis Fuerst, New London; brothers, Wayne Fuerst, Boston, MA and Tregg (Terry) Fuerst, New London; and their children: Whitney and Tristin (godson); brother-in-law, Tim Van Asten and his children Raleigh, Kaz and Blaine (godson), Greenville. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.
Scott is preceded in death by his sister, Pamela (Fuerst) Van Asten; paternal grandparents, Clarence and Lorina Fuerst; and maternal grandparents, Rueben and Cathleen Knuth.
A funeral service for Scott will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London, with Rev. William Heiges officiating. Family and friends may visit directly at church Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Old Maple Creek Cemetery, Town of Maple Creek.
