    • Watertown Daily News, Watertown, Wisconsin, 26 Nov 2013: JUNEAU — Julienne C. Becker, 81, of Juneau, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, at her home.
      She was born Aug. 15, 1932, in Eau Claire, the daughter of Henry T. and Rosemary (nee Sell) Collard. Julienne married Eugene Becker 60 years ago on Sept. 12, 1953, in Reeseville. She lived in Charleston, S.C., while her husband was stationed at the Navy hospital, until his discharge in 1955 when they returned to Dodge County and settled in Juneau.
      Julienne attended Milwaukee State College (Wisconsin State Teachers College). She was a stay-at-home mom until her children were grown. At 40 years old, Julienne took a full-time job, holding the position of deputy register of deeds at the Dodge County Courthouse for 37 years, retiring at the age of 77. Her faith and her family were the foundation of her life. Always positive and cheerful, her strong work ethic, quick wit and compassion for others left a lasting legacy to all who knew her.
      She is survived by her loving husband, Eugene, of Juneau; her dear children Brenda Murphy of Beaver Dam, Nancy (Karl) Stubenvoll of Door County, Mary Jo (John) Van Grinsven of Appleton, Mark (Nancy) Becker of Greenville, Marcy Becker of Appleton and Michael (Laura) Becker of Hortonville; her 10 precious grandchildren Sarah, Kathryn and Mark Murphy, Michael and Elizabeth Stubenvoll, Nicholas and John Becker, Nicole, Danielle and Christiana Van Grinsven; her dear stepgrandchildren Mary Ann, Joseph and Christopher Cavanagh; and her sisters Evelyn Jane (Tom) Stencel of Waukesha and Rosemary Collard of Chicago.
      Julienne is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, James Collard.
      Visitation will be Friday, from 4-8 p.m., at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home in Juneau, with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Visitation continues Saturday, from 9-11 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Clyman. Mass of Resurrection will follow at the church at 11 a.m. Rev. Rick Wendell will officiate. Interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Juneau.
      Memorials to EWTN, ; Diabetes Foundation, ; or the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, , in Julienne’s name would be appreciated.
