    • Edward W. VanDerLinden, 68 of the Town of Rockland died unexpectedly on Saturday evening May 11, 2013 at his home. He was born April 25, 1945 to the late Frank and Minnie (VandenHeuvel) VanDerLinden. On July 29, 1967 he married Rita Christnovich at St. Mary Catholic Church in De Pere. Ed retired from Brillion Iron Works after 40 years employment with them. He loved the outdoors, especially farming, gardening, cutting wood, and raising animals. Ed loved being with his family, especially the grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Rita, his children, Renee (Ron) Wozniak, Steve (Stacy) VanDerLinden, Jason (Friend Jodi) VanDerLinden, Ed's grandchildren, Michelle Wozniak, Stephanie (FiancĂ© Greg White) Wozniak, Olivia VanDerLinden, and Jacob VanDerLinden. His siblings also survive George (Pat) VanDerLinden, Mary Patterson, and his brother in law Thomas Christnovich, his sister-in-laws Carol Hendren of Heartland, Mary Schroeder of Hawkins, and Anita (Ron) Kevilus of Argonne, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, Ed was preceded in death by his parents, and three siblings, father and mother-in law, John and Bernice Christnovich and one brother-in-law, John Christnovich.

      Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street De Pere from 4 - 8pm Wednesday May 15, 2013. A parish prayer service will be held at 7:45pm to bring the evening to a close. Visitation will continue after 9:30am Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church Town of Ledgeview, until the Mass of Christian burial at 10:30am with Fr. Richard Getchel officiating.
