- William "Bill" R. Kyles, 74, Allouez resident, passed away peacefully on Monday afternoon, May 6, 2013 at the Jack and Engrid Meng Residence. He was born on March 13, 1939 in Green Bay to the late Paul, Sr. and Hilda (Bowers) Kyles. Bill attended Cathedral Grade School and was a graduate of Premontre High School. He worked at Pauly Cheese for many years as a cooker. Bill enjoyed yard work and working outside. He liked watching the Packers and hockey games. Bill was a people person and loved helping out in any way he could. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his siblings, Paul, Jr. (Jane) Kyles; Judy Kyles; Mary (Chuck) Allard; Mark (Kristen) Kyles and Doug (Mary Jo) Kyles; sister-in-law, Teresa "Tessie" Kyles; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Fred and Stephen Kyles; and his brother-in-law, Eugene McDonald.
Friends may call at Resurrection Parish, 333 Hilltop Drive, on Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Friday at the church with Bishop Robert Morneau officiating. Burial will be in the Allouez Catholic Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com. Proko-Wall Funeral Home is assisting the family.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund is being established.
Bill's family would like to thank the staff and nurses of Unity Hospice especially those at the Jack and Engrid Meng Residence and also to Dr. Ryan and his staff for all of the care and comfort they provided.
