- Arthur E. Lemens, 81, 1509 Morrow St., died unexpectedly at home, Tuesday, May 4, 1993. The son of the late Fred and Josephine (Goyens) Lemens was born in Dyckesville February 9, 1912. He married the former Louise Liebergen October 21,1936 at St. Killian, New Franken. Mr. Lemens farmed in Dyckesville and worked for the Green Bay Canning Company for many years. Arthur and his family
moved to Green Bay in 1969. He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Church. He was an avid fisherman
who enjoyed the great outdoors.
Mr. Lemens was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who loved his
family.
Survivors include his wife, Louise, Green Bay; one son and daughter-in-law. Ken and Janet Lemens, Green Bay; three daughters and sons-in-law, Ardell and Carl Collin, Rosie and Joe Collin all of Green Bay. Betty and Gene Becker, Menasha; 18 grandchildren; one foster grandchild, Rodney Lemerond, Green Bay; 16
great-grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; seven stepgreatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Janice Schultz; one son, Fred Lemens; two grandsons, Joe Collin Jr. and Gerard Lemens; one great-granddaughter, Tammy Collin; four brothers and three
sisters.
Friends may call at Malcore Funeral Home, University Ave. at Baird St., Friday from 3 to 9 p.m. and prior to service Saturday. Parish wake service 8 p.m. Friday at
the funeral home. Funeral Saturday 10 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Church with the Rev. Earl Schuh
officiating. Burial at St. Louis Cemetery, Dyckesville.
