- Obit. De Pere Journal Democrat 9-11-1997 and Green Bay Press Gazette Mrs. John W. (Franny) Vande Hei, 77, De Pere, died Sept 7, at her home. Funeral services wer e held Wednesday morning at St. Francis Xavier church with the Rev. Anthony Dolski officiatin g. Burial was in St. Mary cemetery, Greenleaf, with Cotter funeral home handling arrangements . The former Franny Vissers, she was born in De Pere, Feb. 19, 1920, to the late Martin and Cec ilia Wilmet Vissers. She lived in the De Pere and Greenleaf areas all of her life. She and Jo hn W. Vande Hei were married Sept. 29, 1941 and they enjoyed almost 56 years together and far med in Greenleaf for many years. They are members of St. Francis Xavier parish where Mrs. Va nde Hei was president of the Altar Rosary society. Survivors are her husband; three sons, Bill and Janice of De Pere and Dan, and Randa and Ann a, l of Green Bay; six grandchildren Lisa Vande Hei, Scott Cande Hei, Danielle Vande Hei, Cas sandra (Rick) Getschow, Terri (Kevin) Diny, Jeanne (Dean) Wall; ; two great grandchildren; Sa m and Mariah Wall; three brothers, Lawrence and Jane, Robert and Bernard and Lillian Visser s all of De Pere; four sisters, Mrs. Mike (Joanne) Rosnowski of Allouez, Leona Nackers of Wri ghtstown and Elsie Kempen and Verona and Harvey Van Lanen both of De Pere; nieces and nephews . She was preceded din death by a son, Robert; a daughter, Jeanne; one sister Agnes and Harol d Vande Hei, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Clarence Kempen, Jeanette Vissers, Art and F rances Vande Hei, Ken Vande Hei, Donald Vane Hei, and Sylvester Nackers. and other relative s.
