      Francis Edwin Despins, aged 80 years passed away at his home on West tenth street here at 12;15 Tuesday afternoon following a long illness. He was born at Wrightstown and resided on a farm there until he moved to Kaukauna eight years ago. Survivors are his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Frank Vandehey and Mrs. Alive Steffen, Kaukauna; six sons, George, Arthur and James, Racine; Frank of West Allis; Edwin, San Antonio, Texas; and Verne, Kaukauna. Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Catholic church this morning at 9 o'clock. Interment was in the parish cemetery. Pall bearers were George Unkles, Arnald Biese, Mike Nytes, Louis Schermitzler, John Pfeifer and Henry Nackers.
