    • Matthew Beschta, 59, died at his home, 1707 N. Alvin street, about 10:30 Monday night after a 7-week illness.
      Survivors are the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Schuh and Mrs. Roy Casey, Appleton; three sons, Vernon, Leonard and Willard, Appleton; two brothers, Peter, Hortonville, and Anthony, Center Valley; three sisters, Mrs. Katherine Fischer and Mrs. Sisie buss, Appleton, and Mrs. Anna Hoier, Stephensville; and 12 grandchildren.
      Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral home from 7 o'clock Wednesday night until the time of services. The rosary will be recited at 8:30 Wednesday and Thursday nights.
      After the cortege forms at the funeral home at 9 o'clock Friday morning, services will be at St. Therese Catholic church, where he was a member, at 9:30 with the Rev. M. A. Hauch in charge. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery.
      Beschta was born Nov. 10, 1901, in Ozaukee county and lived on a farm in Grand Chute for 20 years. Eight years ago he moved to Appleton where he was a carpenter.
