    • Fred N. Klaeser Sr., 60, of 406 6th St., Kiel, died of a brief illness early today in Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton. A machinist for 44 years, Mr. Klaeser had been employed most recently until his illness by the A.A. Laun Furniture Co. in Kiel. A native of Kiel, he was born July 10, 1906, a son of the late Frank and Emma Klaeser. He attended Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic School and married Lydia Hartmann of Schleswig, Sept. 25, 1928, in that church. The couple made their home in Kiel since their marriage. Mr. Klaeser was
      a member of the Ss. Peter and Paul Holy Name Society. Surviving are his wife; a daughter and a son (names omitted for privacy); six grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Emmeranda Mies of rural New Holstein
      and Mrs. Olive Walters of Kiel, and two brothers, Joseph of Kiel and Gilbert of Madera, Calif. The requiem Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Ss. Peter and Paul Church, with the Rev. George Kiefer,
      pastor, celebrant. Mass will follow 9:30 family rites at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home in Kiel, with burial in the parish cemetery.
