    • Called By Death.
      Death claimed Mrs. Anna Klaeser, one of Kiel's old-time residents, on Tuesday morning at 5 o'clock, after a short illness, due to infirmities of old age. Deceased, nee Krause, was born in Bohemia, Austria, June 11th, 1839, and came to America in 1851, with her parents, who settled in Ozaukee county. She was married in 1855 to Joseph Klaeser, who preceded her in death in 1904. The family came to Kiel in 1881, where the deceased has resided up to the time of her death. Thirteen children blessed their union, of whom three died in infancy and two a short time ago. She leaves three daughters and five sons, as follows: Mrs. Chas. Jones of Plymouth, Mrs. S. Salber of Milwaukee and Mrs. Katie Klauck of Kiel; John Klaeser of Milwaukee, Anton of Marion, Wis., and Nic., Jacob and Frank of Kiel. Also one sister, Mrs. S. Leisgeng of Black Creek, 32 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will take place today, Thursday, at 9 o'clock, with services in St. Peter & Paul's church, Rev. O. Kolbe assisted by Rev. Kuborn of New Holstein and Rev. Schmidt of St. Anna officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
