Coated Paper Co. Head, Dies
Was on Fire and Police Commission;
Rites to be Friday

Fred C. Heinritz, 54, 1206 E. Opechee street, died at 12:05 this morning. He was president of the Appleton Coated Paper company, with which he had been associated for 38 years, and was active in church and community affairs.
Born Aug. 22, 1894, in Beaver, Wis., he moved to Appleton at the age of 14 and had lived here ever since.
He was a member of St. Joseph church, the Knights of Columbus, the Catholic Order of Foresters, the Holy Name Society of St. Joseph church and the Al Stoegbauer Retreat club. He also was affiliated with the Appleton Elks lodge, the Appleton Rotary club and Rotary International; Butte des Mots Golf club and Riverview Country club.
A past commander of Oney Johnston-Edward Blessman post of the American Legion, he also was a member and former director of the Appleton Chamber of Commerce and a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity. He also served on the city police and fire commission, of which he was a past president.
Survivors are the widow, two sons, James and Fred T., at home; two daughters, Mrs. E. F. Marcellus, Appleton, and Rosann, at home; two grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Albert West, Appleton; and two brothers, George, Appleton, and Howard, Los Angeles, Calif.
Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Friday morning at St. Joseph Catholic church, the cortege forming at 8:30 at the Wichmann Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 o'clock this evening until the time of the services. The rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock this evening and at 7:30, 8 o'clock an 8:15 Thursday evening.
