    • Forrest G. Bock, age 39, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at his home in Little Chute after a long, courageous battle with cancer. He was the loving son of Pete and Pat (Mc Cay) Bock, and was born in Kenosha. Forrest attended the University of Oshkosh where he met the love of his life, Julie Verboomen, in 1995. They were married September 9, 2000 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church. Forrest was a loving husband and devoted father. His greatest joy in life was his family, and he loved and lived his life with unfaltering dedication to his family and friendships.

Forrest proudly and tirelessly coached, cheered, and supported his children's special interests and athletics. Forrest was a sports fan with a passion for football. He was a former UW-O Titan, and later spent many years coaching football at Oshkosh North, Xavier, and Kimberly High Schools. Forrest also took pride in his work as a youth-care specialist for Shelter Care.

Forrest is survived by his wife Julie; his children Jessica, Luke and Benjamin; his parents Pete and Pat; his brothers Kyle (Beth Anne) and Doak; his father and mother-in-law Bill and Diane Verboomen; and his brothers-in-law Tim (Jenni), Todd (Amy) and Chad (Beth) Verboomen. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and countless friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, October 14, 2012 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) beginning at 12:00 noon through the funeral service beginning at 4:00 p.m. Rev. Scott Ferry will officiate the service. Forrest was not a flowers kind of guy, but a memorial in his name is being established for his family.
