    • Miss Marie A. Kersten, 80, 28 E. Main St., Chilton, passed away at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton Monday. She has been ill for the past several years.

      The deceased was born in the city of Chilton, Nov. 2, 1888, the daughter of Henry and Antoinette Craanen Kersten. She was a housekeeper and companion in this area until 8 years ago.

      Miss Kersten was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Chilton.

      Only survivors are nieces and nephews. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

      Funeral services will be held from St. Mary’s Church, Chilton, with the Rev. Aloysius Knier as celebrant of the Mass. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
