    • Monica D. (Van Lanen) Clark, 95, Rhinelander, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014. She was born in De Pere on March 17, 1919 to the late John and Minnie (Berken) Van Lanen and married Walter J. Clark on May 17, 1947 in De Pere. He preceded her in death on July 7, 1982.

      She was employed by Kraft Foods and then Schreiber Foods for many years until her retirement in 1981. She enjoyed fishing and taking trips, especially with the Green Bay Fun Club. She also loved going to Pelican Lake and spending quality time with her friends and family. Her two grandsons were her pride and joy.

      She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Ann Clark, Pelican Lake; two grandsons, Matthew (Eleasha) Clark, Springdale, AR; Michael (fiancée, Estelle Cahala) Clark, Antigo; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Van Lanen and Audrey Van Lanen, both of Green Bay; special niece, Donna Dantoin, Green Bay; and many other nieces and nephews.

      She was preceded in death by her siblings and their spouses, Al and Fern Van Lanen, Johanna and Richard Hermans, Harvey and Verona Van Lanen, Raymond and Alvina Van Lanen, Hank and Rosie Van Lanen, Earl Van Lanen, Randy Van Lanen, Ruth and David Cleven, and Sally and Norb Fonder.

      Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue Monday at 10 a.m. at the church until the time of mass. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, 645 S.
