      Van Den Wymelenberg, Marie (Hendricks) Marie (Hendricks) Van Den Wymelenberg, 93, passed away Dec. 2, 2006.

      She was born July 27, 1913, to the late Theodore and Bertha Hendricks. On May 4, 1940, she married Gerald Van Den Wymelenberg at St. Mary's Catholic Church in De Pere. They celebrated their sixty-sixth wedding anniversary this year. Mr. and Mrs. Van Den Wymelenberg have been longtime members of Annunciation Parish.

      Marie enjoyed knitting hats, gloves and scarves for her children and grandchildren. She also made each child and grandchild a special afghan. Mrs. Van Den Wymelenberg donated over 2,500 hours knitting caps and mittens for the Mary Guild of St. Mary's Hospital. She made Packers Green and Gold caps and booties for newborn infants at St. Mary's Hospital and also made many items for The Salvation Army. The Thursdays that Marie spent with her "Craft Ladies" were very special times for her.

      She is survived by her husband, Gerald, four children and their spouses, Rosemary (Wade) Ritchie, Paul (Susan) Van Den Wymelenberg, Jean (Art) Wieber and Helen (Ken) Fisher; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two sisters-in-law, Marcella Albertson and Ruth Merkey.

      Marie was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Carol Ann, and a great-grandson, Ryan Fischer. She was also preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Sylvester and Helen Hendricks, a brother-in-law and his wife, John and Janet Van Den Wymelenberg, brothers-in-law, William Merkey and Al Albertson and special cousins Anna, Agnes and Lawrence Coonen and Nettie Van Deurzen and her husband, Lawrence.

      Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave. from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday (today). A Parish Wake Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. this evening. To accommodate the handicap and the elderly the visitation will continue from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth Street. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with Rev. Richard Getchel officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park Cemetery.
