- Joan A. Lange, 86, Suamico, passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side Thursday, June 2, 2016. The daughter of Lawrence and Geraldine (Huguet) Blodgett was born December 5, 1929, in Allouez. She was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy. On October 8, 1949, Joan married Robert H. Lange at St. Matthew Church in Allouez. She was a member of SS. Edward & Isidore Parish in Flintville.
Joan enjoyed everything about the outdoors, especially trout fishing. She also loved to take walks in the woods. She was a talented seamstress. Joan took pride in her home and was a meticulous housekeeper.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 67 years, Robert H. Lange, Suamico; three children: Rodney M. (Deborah) Lange, Suamico, David L. (Kathy) Lange, Kingman, AZ, and Dianne L. Lohman, Shawano; five grandchildren: Michael (Andrea Swanberg-Lange) Lange, Madison, David "Joe" (Catherine) Lange, Jr., Green Bay, Sara (Joe) Coffey, Mesa, AZ, Dawn C. Kerrigan, Mason, and Cory Lohman, Shawano; five great-grandchildren: Henry and Caroline Lange, Emmitt Coffey, Richard Kerrigan, and Lily Lohman; three sisters: Judy Girard, Pat (Richard) Dickensheid, and Bonnie (Bruce) Ziegelbauer; one sister-in-law, Bernadette "Bunny" Blodgett; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Herbert "Buster" Blodgett and Bernard "Bud" Blodgett; two sisters: Virginia "Ginny" Kochen and Doris Bergsbaken; two brothers-in-law: Chris Kochen and Willis "Bill" Bergsbaken.
Per the family's request, private family service will be held.
The family extends a special thanks to the staffs of Unity Hospice and Bellin Hospital.
