- Kaukauna
The remains of William Early, who died at the Northern Hospital for the Insane near Oshkosh, was buried here yesterday afternoon from the Brokaw Memorial Church. Rev. F. H. Brigham officiated. Mr Early was married to Theresa Grignon, daughter of Mr and Mrs Alex Grignon, and had spent most of his life in Kaukauna. While employed as machine tender at Port Edwards, he fell and broke his hip which incapacitated him from further work. It is deemed that this was the cause of insanity. His wife and son Roy survive. His age was forty-three years, Mr Early was a well known papermaker, having been employed in all the mills in Kaukauna and at the Combined Locke. Interment was at Union cemetery.
