Mrs. Clarence (Irene) Lamers, 109 Elm St. Combined Locks, age 66, died early Saturday at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born July 20, 1913 in Browns Valley, Mn., and moved to the Kimberly area in 1934 where she lived the rest of her life. She was employed at Georges Steak House for a number of years. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church of Combined Locks and of the Golden Agers of Combined Locks.
She is survived by two daughters; Mrs. Dennis (Mary) Dufrane, and Mrs. Tom (Carol) Daul, both of Kaukauna; four sons, Eugene of Combined Locks, Jim of Arlington, Va., Thomas of Brookshire, England and Jerry of Little Chute; four brothers, Albert, George, Leo and Lester Appel, all of Browns Valley, Mn., and one sister, Mrs. Turk (Alvina) Almquist, also of Browns Valley, and 15 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a granddaughter, a sister and a brother.
Funeral services will be 11AM Monday at St. Paul's Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Robert Vandenberg officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 3PM Sunday at the Jansen-Fargo Funeral Home Kimberly.
There will be a prayer service at 8 PM Sunday.
