    • Mrs. Leo (Leona) Zehren, 94, Green Bay, died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005, at Anna's House in New Franken. Born in Bay Settlement, Aug. 18, 1911, she is the daughter of the late Martin and Anna (Peters) Kuipers. She married Leo Zehren, June 6, 1934, at Holy Cross Church in Bay Settlement. Leona and Leo farmed at Bay Settlement for 16 years and then in the town of Preble for seven years. The couple enjoyed times spent at their cottage in Crivitz. Leona enjoyed crocheting afghans and sewing. She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Church for 55 years and the Ladies Altar Society.
