    • Michael S. Anderson, 57, of 2110 N. 18th St., died Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Mequon, WI

      Born March 1, 1955 in Milwaukee, Mike was a son of Rosemary Fox Anderson and the late Arthur Anderson. On August 22, 1987 he was united in marriage to Barbara Gross Van Elzen.

      Mike owned and operated his handyman business "The Fixx". He did plumbing, electrical, woodworking, home improvements and loved the challenge of fixing something broken. Mike also enjoyed doing lighting and sound for various bands including "The Edge" and "Ruby Star". He enjoyed photography, woodworking, landscaping, computers, biking and spending time with family, especially his granddaughters.

      He is survived by his wife Barb; his son and daughter-in-law Greg and Jennifer Van Elzen, Kaukauna, WI; three grandchildren, Abby, Kylie and Lexi Van Elzen; his mother Rosemary, one brother, James (Sara) Anderson, Dallas, TX ; one sister Carol (Michael) Grunwald, Newton; two nephews and one niece, Andrew, Daniel & Lucy Grunwald; his mother-in-law Gertrude Gross, New Holstein; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Anderson and his father-in-law Alden Gross.

      Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2013, at the Lippert-Olson Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Ave. The Rev. Daniel Lasecki will officiate. Relatives and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

      A memorial fund has been established in his name.

      The Lippert-Olson Funeral Home is serving the family.

      The family would like to thank the Sheboygan Fire Department and Columbia St. Mary's Hospital for the loving care they gave Mike.
