    • Reedsville Man Killed by Tractor
      Joseph Huiting Crushed on Farm
      Cato—Joseph Huiting of Reedsville was killed Thursday morning when a tractor he was operating on the Al Lensmeyer farm, Rt. 1, overturned and crushed his
      skull.
      Dr. Theodore Teitgen, Manitowoc County coroner, said the accident might have occurred about 9:30. That was the time when the tractor was last heard running. He said that Huiting, about 50, had gone to the farm of his son-in-law and was plowing in a field when the tractor went over a bank. He was found about 11 o’clock underneath the tractor.
      Huiting is survived by his wife; a son, Robert of Manitowoc; two daughters, Mrs. Lensmeyer and Miss Mary at home; father, John Huiting of Coutney, N.D.;
      four brothers, John and Ted of Little Chute, George of Alpena, Mich., and Norbert of Rochester, Minn.; three sisters, Mrs. Leo Leir of Libby, Mont.; Mrs. John Baker of McHenry, N.D., and Mrs. Bert Hietpas of Rt. 1, Appleton; and a grandchild.
      Funeral services have been tentatively set for Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Reedsville, with the Rev. William Koutnik officiating. Burial will
      be in the church cemetery.
      Friends may call at the Reedsville Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Saturday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Huiting was a member of the Holy Name Society of the church.
