    • Wallace “Wally” D. Baker, 52, of Marinette, WI passed away unexpectedly Friday October 9, 2015 at Bay Area Medical Center. Wally was born September 20, 1963 in Appleton, WI to the late Duane and Frances (Weyenberg) Baker.

      He graduated from Marinette High School and then drove truck for a number of trucking companies including: Hornish Brothers in Ohio, K & K Warehousing, Nelson Trucking and Veriha Trucking.

      On July 29, 2000 Wally married Alana Berg in Marinette. He was a member of the Marinette Jehovah Witness, the Allis-Chalmer Club, and a former member of the Marinette Elks Lodge. One of Wally’s greatest joys in life was spending time with his granddaughter Gena. He also enjoyed hunting, boating, spending time at Camp Poc-a-Doo, auctioneering for family reunions and 12 years donating his time at Jabers in Althestane every Labor Day for the Wausaukee and Twin Bridge Rescue Squad.

      Wally is survived by his wife Alana; daughter Angela (Eddie) Adler and daughter Gena of Spanish Fort, AL; son Ian (Julie) Berg of Atlantic City, NJ; three brothers: Bruce (Peggy) Baker, Fred (Connie) Sindorf and David (Significant other Brandy) Baker; three sisters: Anne Marie Evancheck, Karen (Bill) Sebero and Jody (Mike) Vick; his step-mother, Gwen Baker and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
      In addition to his parents, Duane and Frances he was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Baker and a sister,
      Theresa Bero.

      Friends may call at The Marinette Kingdom Hall on Saturday October 24th from 3pm until 4pm. Services will be held at 4pm lead by Elder Don Carlson. Thielen Funeral Home is assisting the family.
