      Barbara Hopfensperger Seibold

      Barbara Hopfensperger of White Mountain Lake, Arizona, died on November 27, 1996. She was 85. She was born on January 29, 1911, in Appleton. She married Arthur Seibold in 1932, and had lived in many states before settling in Boulder, Colorado, where she worked as an evaluater of internation and graduate students at the University of Colorado. She retired in 1974 and later moved to Arizona to be near members of her family. Mrs. Seibold was active in the Catholic Church and various civic and social organizations. She was a life member of the Rocky Mountain Climbers Club and an Avid climber for many years. She traveled extensively in Europe and the Far East. She was a very gifted artist.

      She was preceded in death by a son, Steven Seibold, Boulder Colorado; and her parents; Joseph and Anna Bendixen Hopfensperger; four sisters; Marion, Gertrude, Agnes and Sister Mary Anne, O.S.M.; three brothers; Robert, Clarence, and Edward.

      Survivors include a brother, Joseph Hopfensperger, Appleton; a sister, Frances Hopfensperger Driessen, Kaukauna; two sons; Jon Seibold and his wife, Carol, North Oaks, Minnesota; and James C. Seibold, Mesa, Arizona; two daughters in-law; Dianna Seibold, White Mountain Lake, Arizona' and Sophie Pangburn, Longmont, Colorado; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

      A memorial service will be held next spring. She will be buried in Darboy with other members of her family.
