      Mrs. Anna Hopfensperger

      Age 82, the widow of the late Joseph Hopfensperger passed away at 12 noon Sunday after a long illness. She was born March 25, 1885 in Waupaca and had benn a lifelong resident of Appleton. She was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters; the Christian Mothers Society, Sacred Heart Catholic Church; the Auxiliary of the Catholic War Veterans.

      Mrs. Hopfensperger is survived by three daughters; Sister Mary Ann O.S. M., Ladysmith, Wisconsin; Mrs. Barbara Seibold, Boulder, Colorado; Mrs. Leo Driessen, Kaukauna; two sons; Edward and Joseph, both of Appleton; two sisters; Anton Halmstad, Catawba, Wisconsin; Mrs. Emma Groseth, Eau Claire; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

      One son, Clarence, preceded her in death in 1964.

      Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Orville Jansen officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Angels Cemetery, Darboy. Friends may call at the Ellenbecker-Brown Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Tuesday. Rosary will be prayed at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established.
