    • Frank C. Casper, 62, of Route 3, who farmed all of his life in the Town of Empire, died early Monday at his home of an apparent heart attack.
      He was born at Stockbridge on Aug. 26, 1910, the son of Anton and Katherine Freund Casper. He never married.
      Mr. Casper attended public schools and St. Mary's Springs High School, He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Holy Name Society and Knights of Columbus.
      Surviving are uncles, aunts and cousins.
      Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Zacherl Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church. The Rev. Ernst 0. Dreher will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
      Family and friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
