    • Mrs. John Nett, 83, the former Gertrude Lisowe, died at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Nett at Jericho Sunday.

      She lived in the village of Jericho for 34 years. Because of ill health she moved to the farm home of her son nine months ago.

      She was born in New Holstein Aug. 10, 1870, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Lisowe. She was a member of the Christian Mothers' of Holy Trinity congregation, Jericho. She was married to John Nett on Nov. 3, 1887, at Holy Trinity church. He died March 20, 1951.

      Survivors are three children, Phillip and Henry of the town of Brothertown, Mrs. Albert (Rose) Halbach, New Holstein; one sister; Mrs. Catherine Edens, New Holstein; six grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two children, two sisters, her parents and husband.

      Funeral services will be held at Holy Trinity Church, the Rev. William Hemauer will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
