Joseph A. Stumpf Rt 1 Menasha
Age 80, passed away early Monday morning after a long illness. He was born on June 16, 1893 in the town of Harrison, Calumet Co. and had farmed their all of his life. He was charter member of theLeo Van Rooy American Legion 265 and a member of the Holy Name So. of Holy Angels Catholic Church, Darboy.
He is survived by his wife Isabell (Wallace) Stumpf; five daughters, Mrs. Roger (Doris) George, Kaukauna, Mrs. Herman (Ellen) Lamers, Rt. 4 Appleton, Mrs. Kent (Alice) Parker, Neenah, MissKathleen Stumpf, Rt 1 Menasha, Sr. Bridget (Marion), Bay Settlement Convent, Green Bay; seven sons; Eugene, Patrick, Joseph, John, all of Rt 1 Menasha,Harvey, Paul, Thomas, Rt 4 Kaukauna; two brothers, John, Sherwood, Henry, Neenah; a sister Mrs. Sylvester (Isabell) Meehl, Rt. 1 Menasha; 64 grandchildren; 1 great great grand child.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday from Holy Angles Catholic Church, Darboy wit Rev. Stanley Kolbusz officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday. A prayer service will be held Tuesday at 8 p.m.
