- Magolski, Gloria M.
Gloria M. Magolski Mae, age 70 of Appleton passed away after a lengthy illness on Monday, May 24, 2004. She was born in the Town of Lebanon on October 20, 1933, the daughter of the late Theodore and Elsie (Meyer) Heidke. Gloria enjoyed the outdoors especially gardening and fishing. Her greatest passion was baking and decorating wedding and novelty cakes at her own in-home bakery.
She will be sadly missed by her fiance, Maynard Morse, Appleton; six children: Dennis (Wendy) Magolski, New London; Teresa (Bruce) James, Florida; Bonnie (Rick) Simonis, Hortonville; Steve (fiancee Sue) Magolski, Kaukauna; Vicki (John) Spiegelberg, Hortonville; Dan (Cari) Magolski, Menasha; grandchildren: Jeremy and Kevin Magolski, Kristin and Matthew James, Tracie, Troy and Lance Simonis, Charlie, Clayton, Karen and Cole Spiegelberg, Reice and Autumn Magolski and Dalton Hoffman; a great-granddaughter, Abigail Wegner-Magolski; a brother, Roland (Luella) Heidke, Neenah; and a sister, Bernice (Clarence) Prellwitz, Manawa.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Harold; brother, Charlie and sisters: Carol and Leora.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 28, 2004 at Faith Lutheran Church, 601 E. Glendale Avenue in Appleton with Pastor Daniel Thews and Pastor Leon Knitt co-officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday evening with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at Valley Funeral Home and again on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in Floral Hill Cemetery in New London.
