Age 72, died very suddenly Friday morning at his home. He was born October 16, 1907 in Reading, New Jersey. He was a watchman at Thilmany Pulp and Paper Company for over 40 years and was a member of their Quarter Century Club. He came to Wisconsin as a young boy from Hungary and worked in the Lime Kilns at Lower Cliff near Sherwood. He retired from Thilmany Paper Company in 1970, then moved to Spring Hill, Florida where he resided for three years and then moved back to Kaukauna. He is survived by his wife, Mabel Marzahl Andrews; a daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Pennie) Kavanaugh, Kaukauna; two brothers: Steven Andrews, California; and George Andrews, Kaukauna; four sisters: Mrs. Theodore, (Julia) Grey, Roscoe, Illinois; Mrs. Herman (Catherine) Turk, Kimberly; Mrs. Mary Hurkman, Appleton; and Mrs. Melvin (Helen) Broeckman, Kimberly; five grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bethany Lutheran Church, Kaukauna, with the Rev. Walter Steinbach officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at Fargo Funeral Home, Kaukauna and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. A memorial for Bethany Lutheran Church has been established.
