    • Gerald G. "Jerry" Hostettler, age 76, of Little Chute, passed away unexpected at his home on Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Jerry was born on October 7, 1935, in Stockbridge, the son of the late Harry and June (Hawley) Hostettler. In 1944 he moved with his family to New Holstein. Jerry graduated from New Holstein High School in 1953. He was employed at Thilmany Pulp and Paper for over 30 years, retiring in 1997. He was an avid NASCAR and Green Bay Packers fan, enjoyed his friends at Rose Hill Bar, and especially the time spent with his family. Jerry married Doris Wettstein on January 11, 1958; she preceded him in death on April 3, 1972. He then married Beverly (nee Guyette) Barker on June 20, 1975.

      Survivors include his wife Beverly; his sons, Glen (Pauline) Hostettler, Appleton, and their children Adam and Jennifer, and Alan (Amy) Hostettler, Kaukauna, and their children Amanda and Alex; his daughter, Paula (Dan) Vanevenhoven, Appleton, their daughter Jamie, and her son Jonah. He is further survived by his step-daughter Wendy Powell, Kaukauna, and her daughter Alyssa, and her son Jamie. He is also survived by his sister, Nancy Graff, New Holstein.

      Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2012, at FARGO FUNERAL HOME, 400 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Kaukauna, with Rev. Kurt Kovanen officiating. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah.
