    • Bernard J. Dworak, 81, Glenmore, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. He was born Nov. 19, 1930, in the town of Green Bay to the late Art and Anna (Martin) Dworak. Bernard married Kathleen Grusznski in 1955, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Glenmore. He served his country as a corporal in the Marine Corps during the Korean War.

      He was employed at Paper Converting for 33 years while continuing to run the family farm until 1986. He was most proud of his beautiful family and looked forward to all of the gatherings. Christmas was his favorite time of the year and he cherished the time that his entire family was under his roof once again. Bernard enjoyed hunting and fishing at his cabin in Mountain and travelling out West with Kathy.

      Surviving are his loving wife of 57 years, Kathleen; eight children and their spouses, Pam and Toby Lemmens, Jeff and Sharon Dworak, Donna and Michael Faulds, Judy and Bud Hoffman, Tom and Colleen Dworak, Artie and Patti Dworak, Kay and Larry Loppnow, Rosanne Dworak; sixteen grandchildren ; two great-grandchildren and a special family friend, Nancy Grundy. He is further survived by his sister, Dorthy VandenLangenberg, a brother-in-law, Clayton Kafka; one aunt, Francine Guillette; other sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews and dear friends.

      Preceding him in death were a sister, Marcella Kafka; a brother-in-law, Larry VandenLangenberg and a dear friend, Dick Fruzen.

      Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. A Parish Wake Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Friends may also call from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church Glenmore-Stark, 5832 Big Apple Road, with the Rev. Ron Colombo officiating. Entombment will be in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
