      Mary Jane "Sue" DeWitt, 84, of Memphis, TN, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Mrs. DeWitt was born in Appleton, WI. She was an active member in the Catholic Church. She attended St. Mary's Catholic Church of Memphis, TN., St. Ann's, and The Church of the Nativity of Bartlett, TN. Mrs. DeWitt was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth "Ken" DeWitt. She is survived by, her son and three daughters, Jeff DeWitt (Linda) of Atoka, TN; Kathy Cope (Ray) of Covington, TN; Connie Clingan (Malcolm) of Memphis, TN; and Cheri Pratt (Danny) of Sugar Tree, TN; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

      The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, June 4, from 5-8 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. The funeral Mass will be on Friday, June 5, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 155 Market Street, downtown Memphis. There will be an ice-cream social at St. Mary's before the interment at Memorial Gardens.
