    • Leah M. LeComte, 78, passed away Thursday, April 17, with her family by her side. She was born in Appleton to the late Al & Louise Tank, and graduated in 1954 from Appleton High School. In 1956, Leah married Bob LeComte, and they enjoyed 47 years together.

She worked as an Executive Secretary at Kimberly-Clark for 35 years, retiring in April, 1993.

Leah is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Linda and Rick Mader, her sisters and brothers-in-law Nancy and Bucky Romenesko, Sandy and Mike Schwanke, and Steve Callahan; a sister-in-law Paula (Ken) Konetzke. She is also survived by many very special nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bob in 2003, her parents, and her sister Carla Tank Callahan, as well as Bob's brothers Jim (Joyce) & Fred LeComte, and mother and father in-law Edith & Emanuel LeComte.

Respecting Leah's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in her name.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful ladies at Trinity Terrace in New London, who cared for our Mom like she was their own. We would also like to thank the caring people from Gold Cross Ambulance, the very compassionate staff at Theda Clark 2S Neuro Unit, and Chaplain Rev. Mark Holmes, for helping us through a difficult time.
