- Beverly F. Moede, age 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 11, 2013 at Kindred Hearts in Greenville. Beverly was born in Minneapolis, MN on July 12, 1932 to the late Charles and Frances (Muraski) Melbauer. She loved to read, watch football and golf, but most of all she loved getting together and spending time with her family. Beverly was a member at St. Pius X Catholic Church.
She is survived by three daughters and a son: Patti (Rand) Kaepernick, New London, Karl (Cheryl) Moede, Appleton, Kathy (Chuck) Merkes, Appleton, and Chris Spindler, Menasha; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Graves, New Hampshire; and a brother, Donald Melbauer. She is further survived by nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Debra Moede, and a brother, Charles Melbauer.
A memorial service will take place at 1 pm on Saturday, February 16, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 500 W. Marquette St., Appleton, with Father Thomas Farrell officiating. Friends may visit at the church on Saturday from 12 noon until the time of service. Inurnment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Kindred Hearts in Greenville and the staff at Heartland Hospice for their compassionate care given to Beverly.
