- John Vondrackek died at his farm home about four miles southeast of the village of Reedsville at an early hour Monday morning. Deceased was 73 years of age.
He was born in Bohemia in 1838. Besides a wife he leaves four children to mourn his death, two sons, Joseph and John and two daughters, Mrs. Nemetz of Manitowoc and Mrs. F. Vessely of this vicinity, also two brothers and one sister. Four children have preceded him to the Great Beyond. Charles, Frank, Anton and Emma having died some few years ago.
Mr. Vondrachek was a kind and loving father, a good neighbor and staunch member of St. Marys Catholic Church, being ever ready to lend a hand in time of need.
The funeral took place Monday morning from St. Marys Catholic Church, Rev. Kolar performing the last rites for the deceased. Interment in the Catholic cemetery in the village of Reedsville.
