    • John N. Dohr of Menasha, age 81, passed away on Thursday evening, December 29, 2011 at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center. He was born on September 19, 1930 in Menomonee, Michigan, son of the late Otto and Elizabeth (Pack) Dohr. John graduated from Peshtigo High School in 1949. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army for two year. He was a retiree from American Can, and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

      He will be sadly missed by his sister, Ann (Tom) Simonet; nephews: Mark (Julie) Simonet, Brian (Kaye) Simonet, Damian Dohr; niece, Andrea (Scott) Martin; special cousin, Jerry Pack; special friend, John Andersen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Dohr, and his friend, Phyllis Andersen.

      The Funeral Mass for John will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Father Larry Abler officiating. Friends will be received directly at church from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service. Military Honors will be performed immediately following Mass outside of church. Interment will be next to his parents in Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
