  • Notes
    • When grandpa was young he played with his buddies by the river at Doyle Park. He had a bike and a wagon. His family had to TVs, only radios. He listened to a radio show called Gang Busters. He went to St. John School and didn't wear uniforms. There were 39 nuns at St. John's back then. He was taught to respect one another and always help out your neighbor.
His dad drove a Ford Model-T.
At the age of 18 my grandpa went into World War II. He was stationed in Europe. His mother died while my grandpa was at war. My grandpa is a hero, isn't he?
