- Leonard grew up on his parents' farm and attended school at the grade school of Tubbs Rd. He was baptized and confirmed at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour.
Leonard operated the family farm with his parents until he purchased the farm across the road. There he farmed until 1994 when he retired and his son, Richard, bought the farm.
Alice attended Sunnyside School, in the Pulaski School District, and Pulaski High School. Her family owned a tavern in Isaar. She and Leonard met when she was attending bar. They were engaged in June and married on September 10, 1060. In 1970 Alice had a stroke and has continued to raise their family.
Len died on February 28, 1996, from a blood disease. He is buried in Emmanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery on Cemetery Road, northwest of Seymour. 9Jt ~ 0
In June of 2003 Alice lost the farm house in a fire. Nancy built a new house on a separate lot on the farm and Alice lives with her.
Fred and Mary Dury married but have divorced. He presently is
employed as a truck driver.
Richard and Ruth Johnson married and have three children: Allison, age 12, Chris, age 10, and Chad, age 8, and four stepchildren: Richard, age 23, William, age 21, Shane, age 17, and Renee, age 16. Richard is farming in Seymour Township.
Nancy has been working for Shopko and lives with her mother.
She has recently been the Sunday School Superintendent at
Emmanuel Lutheran, Seymour.
Susan and Anthony Page married. Susan works for the State Farm Insurance Company.
