Notes - Norbert Goffard, 83, Golden Valley, MN, formerly of Neenah, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2011, at Golden Valley Care Center. He was born October 19, 1927, in Oneida, son of Leonard and Elizabeth (Janz) Goffard. Norbert married Florence Stelow and she preceded him in death December 4, 1971. He was employed at John Strange Paper Company until his retirement. Mr. Goffard was a U.S. Marine Corps and Merchant Marines veteran. Norbert enjoyed being with his family.
Norbert is survived by his son: Perry (Leann) Goffard, Minneapolis, MN.
Norbert was also preceded in death by his parents and a son, William Goffard.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 16, 2011, at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah, with Fr. Michael Ingold officiating. Interment will in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Norbert's name.
