- Margaret L. Borowitz, 82, Oconto Falls, went to be with her Lord on Monday evening, Nov. 28, 2011, at home. She was born May 27, 1929, in Denmark, to William and Maude (Le Mieux) Champeau. Margaret grew up in Denmark, where she graduated from high school. Following graduation, she moved to Green Bay where she worked for the telephone company and met her future husband.
On Aug. 7, 1948, she married Joseph Borowitz. The couple lived in Suamico, where they raised their seven children. Her husband, Joseph preceded her in death on March 31, 1974. She later married Wayne Kuntz and he preceded her in death in 2008. Margaret was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Stiles and the Eick-Sankey American Legion Auxiliary Post # 302. She loved the Lord, her children and her garden.
Survivors are her children, Robert (Alejandra) Borowitz, John (Bonnie VanHoosen) Borowitz, Cynthia (Darrell) Joachim, Beverly Kleczka, Paul Borowitz; two sons-in-law, Darryl Woodworth and Dean Kuntz; 29 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husbands, she was also preceded in death by three children, Jean Woodworth, Sandra Kuntz and infant Joseph Borowitz, eight brothers, two sisters, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
There will be no public visitation or funeral service. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at St. Benedict Cemetery, Suamico, with the Rev. Fr. Joel Sember officiating.
