      Ocala - Mr. Leonard Zemblowski, 81, passed away in Ocala, Florida on October 13, 2013.
      He was born in Sobieski, WI on January 18, 1932. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years as a pilot. He moved to this area in 1975 from Winter Park, FL. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Dunnellon, FL and participated in their men's group. Leonard loved fishing and gardening.
      He is survived by his loving wife Joan of 53 years; one son, David Zemblowski and wife Susie of Americus, GA.; one daughter, Kathleen Stancik and husband Kevin of New Braunfels, TX.; a brother, Cyprian "Bud" Zemblowski of Appleton, WI.; five grandchildren, Sunni Zemblowski, David Zemblowski Jr., Sarah Stancik, Kyle Stancik and Brian Stancik.
      He is preceded in death by 13 older siblings. A gathering of friends will take place at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 7425 US Hwy 41 Dunnellon, FL on Wednesday, October 16th from 5-7PM. A Mass will take place at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Thursday the 17th at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or to Hospice of Marion County.
