- Ron Lardinois passed away on August 10, 2012, surrounded by his family.
Ron was born on June 26th, 1942 to Frank Lardinois and the late Lorriane Stacie. On March 11th, 1961 he married Joyce VanBoxel Lardinois. Following their marriage, Ron and Joyce made their home in Green Bay, WI where they raised their family and made many lifelong friends.
Ron spent his life working in the construction field where he started out in roofing and siding, owned and operated an insulating company, and most recently worked as a home builder with his son Dan. Ron's kids and most of their friends, family, and many neighborhood kids were at one time employed by Lardinois Insulation, or Lardinois Construction. He will be remembered for his hard working nature, his ability to build and fix almost anything, his sense of humor, and his love of a party. Ron was always working on something in the garage or in the yard and never complained when faced with adversity.
Ron will be greatly missed by his wife of 51 years Joyce, one daughter Lisa Lardinois, Key Largo, FL, two sons, Dan (Lisa) Lardinois Little Suamico, WI, and Dave (Tina) Lardinois, Suamico, WI two special family friends Todd Monroe and Linda Dessell, Green Bay, WI, 4 grandchildren, Jessica Behrendt, Mitch Monroe, Ryan Lardinois, and Amber Lardinois, and 2 great grandchildren, Tyler Smits and Austin Monroe. Ron is further survived by his father Frank Lardinois, his brothers Jim Lardinois, Doug (Linda) Stacie, Dirk (Sandy) Stacie, Wayne (Kay) Lardinois, Gary (Faye) Lardinois, Dale (Roberta) Lardinois, sisters Sue (Rich) Dobry, Jean Lison, Jan (Allen) Dettman, and many nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his mother Lorraine Stacie, his stepfather Ed Stacie, and brother Rod Stacie.
Ron's wishes were to be cremated and have his friends and family have a celebration of his life. Arrangements will be made by the family in the near future.
In leau of flowers, Ron and the family request donations be sent in Ron's name to Jerry Parins Cruise for Cancer, 1265 Lombardi Ave, Green Bay, WI 54304.
