    • Alois W. Buechel, 61, of Chilton, died of an apparent heart
      attack Tuesday morning while sitting in his parked car in front
      of the Chilton bank.

      He was born in the Town of Brothertown (Calumet County) Feb. 7,
      1909, a son of the late Mathias and Amalia Buechel. He worked as
      a carpenter in the Chilton area for many years and on Nov. 28,
      1935, he married Leona Broeckel in Jericho.

      Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Peter
      (Mildred) Mortimer, Chilton, Mrs. Charles (Darlene) Pagel and
      Mrs. Robert (Alice) Trachsell, both of Milwaukee; two brothers,
      Henry of Malone, and Gregory, DePere; two sisters, Mrs. Peter
      Nett, Rt. 2, Chilton, and Mrs. Norbert Wagner, Chilton; and
      seven grandchildren.

      He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

      The funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic
      Church, Chilton, with the Very Rev. Aloysius Knier, pastor, the
      celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Family
      services will be at 10:30 a.m. in the Pfeffer Funeral Home,
      Chilton.

      Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The
      parish wake will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
