    • Funeral services for John N. Buechel, 73, Lincoln, Neb., former
      Chilton resident, who died November 1, were held Saturday at
      Sacred Heart Church, Lincoln, Neb. Mr. Buechel was stricken with
      an apparent heart attack at the home of his daughter, Mrs.
      William Brizendine, San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Jericho,
      Dec. 9, 1892, son of the late Mathias and Amalia Schneider
      Buechel. The deceased married Bessie Janssen, August 11, 1915.
      His wife and one son, Lloyd, preceded him in death. Mr. Buechel graduated from Chilton High School and the
      University of Wisconsin Dairy School and taught for some time at
      the university. Before retiring, he had been Quality Control Superintendent for
      44 years at the Roberts Dairy at Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska. He
      was a member of the Dairy Technology Institute, Charter member
      of the Lincoln Optimist Club, Knights of Columbus and the
      Knights of St. Gregory. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Dale (Millie) Edens,
      Oconomowoc; Mrs. William (Lucille) Brizendine, San Antonio,
      Texas; Mrs. Leo (Frances) Kaczmarek, Omaha, Neb., one son,
      Richard, Lincoln, Neb., two sisters, Mrs. Norbert Wagner and
      Mrs. Peter Nett, Chilton; four brothers, Alois, Chilton; Henry,
      Malone; Albert, Sacramento, California; Gregory, DePere; and two
      great grandchildren. Two brothers and one sister preceded him in
      death. Msgr. H. B. Hart officiated. Others in attendance were Bishop
      James V. Casey, Bishop of Lincoln, Neb., Msgr Kaczmarek, and the
      Revs. Kalin and Obrist. The Knights of St. Gregory were the honorary pallbearers.
