    • Minnie Barbara Widmer, 92, of 118 Church St., Theresa, Wis.,
      died Monday, March 5, 2007, at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac,
      Wis.

      She was born on Aug. 12, 1914, in Mount Calvary, Wis., the
      daughter of John and Rosa Steffes Brenner.

      On Oct. 7, 1941, she was married to John J. Widmer at
      Springfield, Mo.

      Minnie was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Theresa,
      Wis., a member of St. Ann's Sodality and Christian Women. Minnie
      loved music and was very talented in piano, organ and vocal. She
      performed on national radio in her youth. Minnie also had a love
      of gardening.

      Survivors include her children, Joan (Tony) Diedrich of
      Appleton, Wis., Virginia Fuller of Two Rivers, Wis., John P.
      Widmer of Theresa, Wis., Rose (Fritz) Bopp of West Bend, Wis.,
      Mary Feucht of West Bend, Wis., and Joe (Penny) Widmer of
      Theresa, Wis.; her sisters and brothers, Vincie Steffes of Fond
      du Lac, Wis., Rudy (Dorothy) Brenner of Chilton, Wis., and
      Harold (Bertie) Brenner of Mount Calvary, Wis.; one
      brother-in-law, Jim (Shirley) Widmer of Theresa, Wis.; 14
      grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She is further
      survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

      She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1982;
      two sisters, Ann Petrie and Regina Wirtz; and four brothers,
      Leo, Walter, Bernard and Albin.

      Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. on
      Thursday, March 8, 2007, at St. Theresa Catholic Church,
      Theresa, Wis. The Rev. Robert McDermott and the Rev. John
      Schmitz will officiate. Burial will be at St. Theresa Memorial
      Garden, Theresa, Wis.

      Visitation: Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on
      Thursday, March 8, 2007, at St. Theresa Catholic Church,
      Theresa, Wis.

      A special thank you to J.P. for his wonderful care of his mother
      and to all others of their watchful care of Minnie.
