  • Notes
    • Robert C. Booth, age 86, of Menasha, died on Tuesday, September 13, 2011, after a long illness. He was born in Menasha on November 19, 1924, to Robert Sr. and Stella (Church) Booth. Known as "Butsy" or "Bob" to his family and friends, he entered the U.S. Army during WWII, serving with distinction in the Solomon Islands and The Philippines. He was honorably discharged in 1946 and returned to Menasha, where he married Mary (nee Nack), who preceded him in death after 49 years of marriage.

Bob owned and operated his own floor covering business for many years before taking a position with the City of Menasha Sewage Commission, from which he retired in 1986. An avid outdoorsman, Bob enjoyed fishing local lakes with his devoted son, Michael, and visits to northern Wisconsin where his daughter, Peggy, resides. He enjoyed spending time and spoiling his three grandsons.

In addition to his wife, Bob was preceded in death by his oldest son, David Booth and his two sisters, Marian Driessen and Audrey Stroebel.

He is survived by his only daughter, Peggy (Jack) Kulpa of Superior, Wisconsin; his youngest son, Michael (Cheryl) Booth of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; three grandsons: Nicholas A. Kulpa of St. Paul, Minnesota and Michael, Jr. and Jacob Booth of Oshkosh.
