- Age 50 of Appleton, died unexpectedly on Friday, April 21, 2012, at Appleton Medical Center.
Larry was born in New London, Wisconsin on April 23, 1961, the son of Lester and Irene (Roland) Fietzer. He attended and graduated from New London High School in 1980. On September 22, 1979, Larry met Debbie Cook. They married on February 16, 1980. Larry was currently employed by Wisconsin Building Supply as a truck driver.
Larry was a big time family man. He enjoyed camping and fishing, polka, country dancing, Westerns, WWE, and working on cars.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie; sons, Nathan, William (Nicole) and Timothy; grandchildren, Trevin and Kimberly Fietzer; siblings, Leon (friend Sue) Fietzer, Lyle (friend Sherry) Fietzer, Lew Fietzer, Leo (friend Kelly) Fietzer, Lynn (Orin) Zirbel, Lana (Jerry) Simonis, Lois (Steve) Cunningham; and special niece, LuAnn Fietzer; mother and father-in-law, Lila and George Derks; sister-in-law, Corinna (David) Forbes; brother-in-law, Dale Cook; niece Yvonne (Jeremy) Cook; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Irene; grandparents; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service for Larry will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 27, 2012, at Pathways Church, 311 West Evergreen Drive, Appleton, 54913, with Pastor John Soto officiating. Family and friends may call directly at church Thursday evening from 4 until 8 p.m. and again directly at church Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the Hobart Cemetery, Royalton Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
