Weyenberg, Lucille A. Lucille A. Weyenberg, age 67, of Kimberly, passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 29, 2005, following a courageous battle with multiple illnesses. Lucille was born in rural Kaukauna on November 14, 1938, daughter of the late Christian and Lena (Bies) Gerig. On January 21, 1958, she married Daniel Weyenberg at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Kaukauna; he survives. She treasured each day she was given, and enjoyed time spent at the cottage on Berry Lake as well as spending time with her family and friends. Everyone will remember Lucy as an awesome cook, and a dedicated and loving stay-at-home mother to her children. Over the years, she held several part-time jobs, but dearest to her heart were the years she spent at West Side Elementary School where she was known as "Grandma" to many through the seventeen years she worked as a noon hour supervisor. Lucy was the glue that held the family together, and her love, laughter, and generosity will be greatly missed. Lucille is survived by her husband, Daniel Weyenberg of Kimberly; three daughters: Christine Soper of Cecil and her children Ashley, Amber, Jordan, and Haley; Shari Weyenberg of Appleton; Wendy (Todd) Heider of Greenville and their sons Justin and Bradley; three sons: Bruce (Susan) Weyenberg of Appleton and their children Jarrod and Danielle and Alexis and Alicia; Timothy (Cheryl) Weyenberg of Seymour and their children Travis and Danielle; and James (Keri) Weyenberg of Milwaukee; two great-grandchildren: Elizabeth Soper and Aliyah Weyenberg; two sisters: Dorothy (Norbert) Dietzen and Dolores (Wenzel) Hoefler, both of Kaukauna; and by Dan's sister and brothers: Elaine (Bob) Schubring of Kaukauna; Ron (Zona) Weyenberg of Kimberly; and Pat (Lorna) Weyenberg of Freedom. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Kathleen (Donald) Dietzen; nephews: Arlen Dietzen, Jerome Stoffel, and Steven Stoffel; a niece Ann Ridgely, and by Dan's parents Clarence and Eva (Williamson) Weyenberg. The funeral liturgy for Lucille will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2005 at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly with Fr. David Belongea, OFM, Cap. officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service. My wife would like to say thank you to Dr. Thomas Winek of Fox Valley Surgical Associates and to Paul Halbach of ThedaCare at Home for taking good care of her. The family would also like to extend their love and thanks to their Dad for his dedication and commitment to his wife and their mom during her difficult illness. Thanks Dad, we love you.OUR MOTHER Is there another as special as.....OUR MOTHER? OUR MOTHER was a woman who had a gift to be anything she wanted and she chose to be a mother. Not just any mother, OUR MOTHER...a great mother. OUR MOTHER was a woman of strong will, strength, and courage beyond human capacity. Yes, this was OUR MOTHER. OUR MOTHER was a woman who was devoted, loving, caring, and compassionate not only to her family; but also to all whom she had met. OUR MOTHER was a woman who listened, laughed, and understood. OUR MOTHER was a beautiful woman who enjoyed and appreciated the little things in life. OUR MOTHER raised, taught, and guided us throughout our lives. For that there are not enough words to express our gratitude and unconditional love to our mother. And most of all, to our hero and our friend, WE LOVE YOU MOM.Jansen Fargo Funeral Home 204 E.
