- Rita D. Clark, 82, Village of Howard, died Friday, August 5, 2011. She was born Sept. 2, 1928 in Green Bay, to Edward and Mabel (VanLanen) Nooyen. On Ja. 29, 1949, she married Raymond Clark at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Bay Settlement. Rita and Ray enjoyed camping and spending time at their cottage. Rita was a social butterfly who had a hard time sitting still. She was a member of Sts. Edward and Isidore Catholic Church in Flintville.
She is survived by her six children and their spouses, Randy (Barbara) Clark, New Franken; Cindy Clark, Green Bay; Bonnie (Steve) Wagnitz, Green Bay; David (Tane) Clark, Wyoming; Wayne (Mary) Clark, Green Bay; Scott (Paula) Clark, Sobieski; eight grandchildren, Bobbie Jo and Nick Clark, Clark and Aja Wagnitz, Elizabeth and Zachary Clark, Waylon and Brooke Clark; five great-grandchildren, Ethan, Lincoln, Mabel, McKenna and Seth; a step-great-grandchild, Brennen; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert (Cathy) Nooyen, New Franken; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, in 2004; her parents; a sister, Joan Hucek and a brother, Ervin Nooyen.
Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday. A closing prayer service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Visitation will continue from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sts. Edward and Isidore Catholic Church, 3667 Flintville Rd. in Flintville, with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at the church with the Rev. David Kasperek officiating.
